ASG Group continues to invest in reducing waste products and eliminating toxic products in all of our manufacturing facilities as well as when we collaborate and work with customers, suppliers and partners. We are committed to meeting the European REACH Regulations which mandate that we communicate information on specific substances used in our products.

ASG Group REACH Compliance Policy

The European Union’s REACH regulation (Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006) outlines requirements for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals for products placed into general commerce within the EU.

The REACH regulation distinguishes between “substances,” “mixtures,” and “articles.” ASG Group operates as a manufacturer of “articles.” As these articles are produced according to our customers’ designs, ASG Group cannot comment on their end use or how these articles are integrated into customers’ final products.

However, ASG Group recognises the importance of providing our customers with information on Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC), as defined in the REACH Candidate List, which are present in concentrations greater than 0.1%. The most up-to-date SVHC Candidate List can be accessed at the following link: https://echa.europa.eu/candidate-list-table.

We are committed to informing our customers about SVHCs present above the 0.1% threshold in the materials we use to manufacture their parts. To facilitate this, we rely on the support of our supply chain to provide declarations concerning SVHCs in the materials we source from them, especially as the Candidate List is updated. We closely monitor our suppliers' responses to ensure we receive timely and accurate information, allowing us to promptly inform our customers of any changes.

For each custom part we produce, we review the data for all relevant materials and respond accordingly. Materials supplied directly by the customer are beyond the scope of ASG Group’s review, and as such, we are unable to make representations regarding customer-supplied materials where this option is available to them.
